Austin High School was recently recognized at the Indiana State House for the number of students enrolled and completing dual credit courses completed. In the 2015-16 school year, 44-percent of our students were enrolled in dual credit. Included in this number are our students who are enrolled in The Academy through Ivy Tech.
Since The Academy started in 2012, the number of graduates from Austin High School with an associate's degree from Ivy Tech has continued to grow. Our first graduating class in 2013 had six Associate's' Degrees, 15 in 2014, 20 in 2015, and 19 in 2016
In the Class of 2017, 34 out of 92 graduates received an associate's degree from Ivy Tech!
