AES Cheer and Dance Team
AES has started the first ever Cheer and Dance Team for third, fourth, and fifth graders. The team was formed to give students another opportunity to stay active and participate in an activity during the winter months. The team is instructed by first grade teacher Tonya Wass along with other staff members. Team members will be learning simple sideline cheers as well as a dance routine. They will also be learning the importance of working together and being part of a "team." The team hopes to cheer at some of the elementary basketball games scheduled for at home. Currently, there are 40 girls participating in this new activity! AES is very excited about this new opportunity for students!
