Sunshine members may choose to participate in our Ideal Lady Program. The program is designed to honor a woman who has touched your life in a special way. Give some thought as you decide upon your Ideal Lady. Choose an adult who
Ø Has made a difference in your life.
Ø Changed your view of yourself or of the world.
Ø Impresses you by how they live their live.
Ø Inspires you to be your best.
Ø Encourages you.
Ø Believes in you.
If you decide to participate in the Ideal Lady Program you may fill out an Ideal Lady Form and turn it in to Mrs. Stearns during the September Meeting.
A letter will be mailed by Mrs. Stearns to your Ideal Lady early in September.
The letter will explain the importance of being chosen as an Ideal Lady.
The Ideal Ladies are not informed of the identity of the Sunshine Girls who has chosen to honor them until our Ideal Lady Social held in the spring. Date to be announced.
The letter will explain our tradition of secretly exchanging gifts at Christmas and at the Ideal lady Social in the spring.
The Ideal Lady will be given directions on how to secretly exchange gifts with her Sunshine Girl.
You will make arrangements to secretly deliver your gift to your Ideal Lady unless she is someone who is employed in our school system. Mrs. Stearns will arrange to deliver gifts to the elementary, upper elementary, middle and high school ladies.
You may wish to send cards on special holidays or on her birthday also.
THE PURPOSE OF THE IDEAL LADY PROGRAM IS TO HONOR A WOMAN WHO HAS TOUCHED YOUR LIFE.
